A while ago, well before Korra, I saw a picture that someone made 'gender bending' Aang from avatar the last airbender. I thought "They should make another avatar series, with a girl avatar this time. It could be about Kyoshi!"

...Which of course, resulted in a fan comic.

A couple things I should mention: this is actually only the second 'real' comic that I've ever made. While I'm not new to coming up with ideas for comics, I am still pretty new to actually making them. I need a place were I can simply experiment, have fun, and learn. That is this comic. Therefore, the style is probably going to be inconsistent. Especially for the first sections of the comic, as I actually drew some of the panels awhile ago and have improved since then.

I'm making this in my spare time, not set to any schedule. I will not be releasing it at a regular time each week - pages will go up as I finish them, whenever that is.

Also, Kyoshi might seem a little different than you would expect at the beginning of the story. That's on purpose. We know her as a powerful warrior, but I think that's probably not what she started out as, but rather what she became. This is the story of how that happens.
